ABOUT US Emily Townsend Prince is a three-time All-American field hockey player from Princeton University. From 1999-2003 she was All-Ivy, two-year captain, two-time recipient of Thorp Von Dusen Goodfellow award (for her dedication to the sport) and competed internationally on the US Junior National Team. As a junior defender, she was the number two scorer on her team. During that time also, she was coached by and trained extensively with US Olympic Players. Emily graduated from The Taft School w First Team All-American honors in field hockey and lacrosse. She was also named basketball MVP of the Western New England Prep School Association. Considered the top defensive field hockey recruit in the United States in 1999, she knows first hand how to navigate the recruiting process. As a coach, she is the former site director and coach of the US Field Hockey Futures Program, founder and director of Nyconn Field Hockey club, founder and director of the Greenwich Youth Field Hockey Association, Director of Player Development for the Wilton Youth Field Hockey Association, and member of the Harrow Sports Advisory Committee. Emily has conducted numerous clinics and pre-season camps to ready individuals and teams to play at their peak for towns in CT. She has worked in film production for New Screen Concepts and has edited hit broadcast television shows for many networks, including ABC, Lifetime, Discovery channel and TLC. She also produced and edited a series on early childhood learning videos for a not for profit called "Mind in the Making." She is currently Assistant Director of College Counseling at the King School in Stamford CT. Most importantly, Emily is committed to helping your child reach their full potential in their sport. |
